DA BALM Extra Strength Recovery Balm

DA BALM is a firm, scoopable balm in a 1.98 oz (56g) glass jar. There is 1,500mg of CBD and 100mg of hemp-derived THC in every jar, 1,600mg of total hemp cannabinoids. It is built on full-spectrum live rosin rather than isolate, so the cannabinoids and terpenes that come across are the ones the plant made, not ones added back in afterward.

The base is organic beeswax with castor oil, andiroba oil and vitamin E. It comes out of the jar firm, softens against the heat of your hands, and spreads much thinner than it looks like it will. It sinks in and leaves skin soft instead of slick, so you can put a shirt on afterward.

The essential oils are the part you notice. Peppermint and eucalyptus hit cold first. Camphor sits somewhere between cool and warm. Then cayenne, clove, ginger and black pepper come up slowly over the next minute or two, and frankincense rounds the whole thing out resinous and woody underneath the mint. It is a strong smell and a strong sensation. Start with less than you think you need.

We made this one because most of what we could buy off a shelf was water, filler and fragrance with a cannabinoid number on the front. How something is made matters as much as what's in it.
